Slider with ball screw
Actuator utilizes ball bearings between the screw shaft and nut for low-friction, high-efficiency operation. Lead screw pitch determines speed and thrust: longer leads yield faster speeds and lower thrusts, while shorter leads provide slower speeds and higher thrusts.
Slider with belt
CKD’s belt-driven actuator offers a wide range of sizes for optimal design flexibility. Its long stroke capability exceeds the limits of ball screw drives. For sizes 14 and above, dual linear guides ensure exceptional rigidity.
